Bayern Munich have been dealt a blow with the news that Dante and Luiz Gustavo will miss the DFB-Pokal final due to their involvement in the Confederations Cup late in June.

While the latter would have started from the bench, the former will be replaced by Daniel Van Buyten at the heart of defence.

Meanwhile, Toni Kroos is sidelined until the start of next season and Holger Badstuber will miss the rest of 2013.

Meanwhile, Stuttgart have an almost full-strength squad to pick from. Daniel Didavi has a knee problem, but was unlikely to play anyway.

Ibrahima Traore will replace Shinji Okazaki from the team who drew 2-2 with Mainz on the final day of the Bundesliga season, but they should be unchanged otherwise, with Alexandru Maxim keeping his place in the XI.

DID YOU KNOW?
The Pokal final will be Bayern Munich boss' Jupp Heynckes' final game in German football. He represented Borussia Monchengladbach and Hannover as a player before coaching the Foals, the Bavarians, Frankfurt, Schalke and Leverkusen.
Bayern have won the Pokal 15 times, more than any other club.
Captain Philipp Lahm spent time on loan at Stuttgart as a youngster, while striker Mario Gomez started his career at the Mercedes Benz Arena.
Stuttgart lost to Bavarian opposition last time they reached the DFB-Pokal final, slipping to a 3-2 defeat to Nurnberg in extra time.
The Swabians won two of the first six editions of the competition in its current incarnation, but have only won it once since 1997.
Coach Bruno Labbadia spent three years at the Allianz Arena during his playing days.

Prediction
Bayern will certainly feel the absence of Dante, who has been the mainstay of the side's defence, but should end up on top nonetheless. They have recorded two comprehensive victories over their southern rivals this term and should encounter no serious problems on Saturday.

Editor's Prediction
Bayern 3-1 VfB Stuttgart

Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova has no fresh fitness concerns heading into Saturday's Liga encounter against Malaga.

Captain Carles Puyol remains absent with a knee problem, while Lionel Messi is unlikely to be risked as he continues his recovery from a hamstring strain.

Eric Abidal is set to make a farewell appearance after Barca announced they will not be renewing the Frenchman's contract into next season.

Malaga defender Martin Demichelis pulled his hamstring in training and is a doubt for the trip to Camp Nou.

Midfielder Manuel Iturra and goalkeeper Carlos Kameni are both likely to miss out with knee injuries.

DID YOU KNOW?
Barcelona are on a four-game winning run in La Liga.
The Blaugrana have won their last 14 Liga matches at Camp Nou.
Alexis Sanchez has scored three goals in his last three appearances for Barca.
Malaga are on a five-match losing run away from home in all competitions.
The Andalusian side have lost 10 of their last 11 meetings with Barcelona.
Malaga's last away win over Barca came in November 1999.

Prediction
Malaga face a crucial summer as they hunt for a replacement for Manuel Pellegrini while warding off interest in their most exciting talent in Isco. Barcelona have recovered well after their crushing defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League and should close out the season with a win.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo could miss the home encounter against Osasuna as he continues to manage a back problem.

Raphael Varane (knee) and Sami Khedira (suspension) are both sidelined, while Pepe, Xabi Alonso and Kaka are all doubts.

However, goalkeeper Iker Casillas and defenders Sergio Ramos and Fabio Coentrao should be available after missing the 3-3 draw at Real Sociedad through injury.

Osasuna defender Damia is suspended after picking up his 15th booking of the season in the win over Sevilla but midfielder Nano is available after serving a one-match ban.

Lolo, Miguel Flano, Sisi, Anthony Annan and Nino are all out injured for the visitors, who have already secured their top-flight status for next season.

DID YOU KNOW?
Real Madrid are on a 10-match winning run at home in La Liga.
Los Blancos have kept a clean sheet in just one of their last eight matches in all competitions.
Gonzalo Higuain has scored three goals in his last two appearances against Osasuna.
Osasuna have only won two of their last eight matches in La Liga (W2, D2, L4).
The Pamplona club have lost four of their last five meetings with Real Madrid.
Osasuna’s last away win over Madrid came in April 2004.

Prediction
Osasuna’s win over Sevilla made this match a dead rubber, but the home side will have been irked by their 3-3 draw against Real Sociedad last weekend and will want to end the season on a positive note.

Geteborg juri lidera ZORAN MANOVIĆ, TRENER U ASIRISKI (ŠVEDSKA)

Written By maxtv on Wednesday, 29 May 2013 | 19:00

ESTER - GETEBORG 2
Bromapojkarna - Malme x2
Haken - Elfsborg 12
HELSINGBORG - ATVIDABERG 1
Mjalbi - Halmštad 1

ŠVEDSKA 2

VARBERG - VARNAMO 1
Degerforš - Ljungskile 1x
EREBRO - ESTERSUND 1

Večiti za pehar JUGOSLAV VASOVIĆ, BIVŠI VATERPOLO AS, ANALIZIRA F4 LIGE ŠAMPIONA

MOJ TIP
Partizan (Srb) - Jug (Hrv) 1(h)

MOJ TIP
Čangčun - Gvangžu RF 1
Vuhan - Kingdo 1
Gvižu - Šangaj Šenhua x
Peking - Liaoning 1
DALIAN - TIANJIN 1

England boss Roy Hodgson is without Kyle Walker (fibula), Tom Cleverly (calf), Steven Gerrard (shoulder), Andy Carroll (heel) and Jack Wilshere (ankle), who all pulled out of the squad through injury.

Gary Cahill has been playing alongside Phil Jagielka in training and that pair are expected to start in defence for the first England match since Rio Ferdinand joined John Terry in announcing his international retirement.

Daniel Sturridge is expected to start alongside Wayne Rooney in attack after finishing the season in fine form for Liverpool, while Ashley Cole will skipper the side.

Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni has opted not to risk Marc Wilson (calf), as the Stoke defender is struggling through injury, meaning Reading full-back Stephen Kelly comes into the side.

Sean St Ledger will partner John O'Shea in the centre of defense, with Aston Villa's Ciaran Clark left out of the squad through injury and Richard Dunne lacking match fitness.

Robbie Keane gained special dispensation from his club LA Galaxy to play in this friendly and he will be partnered up front by Shane Long, with Kevin Doyle (Achilles tendon) absent through injury.

DID YOU KNOW?
This is Republic of Ireland's first visit to England since 1991, with the game organised as part of the FA's ongoing 150th anniversary celebrations.
The match had to be abandoned the last time these two nations met in 1995, as a minority of England fans provoked a riot at Dublin's Lansdowne Road that led to 20 arrests and 40 injuries.
Ashley Cole (pictured, right) will captain the Three Lions after earning his 100th international cap against Brazil in February, though declined to perform other captain's duties such as speaking to the press.
England have not beaten Ireland in any of their last five encounters, with the Boys in Green collecting five points from their last three qualifiers in London.
The Three Lions are unbeaten in their last five games at Wembley, including victories over Belgium, Italy and Brazil.
There are seven English-born players in Giovanni Trapattoni's squad.

Prediction
Ireland have proved themselves to be a hard nut to crack under Giovanni Trapattoni, but England's fine recent form at Wembley should ensure that the birthday celebrations continue with a narrow victory.

Editor's Prediction
England 2-1 Ireland

Real Sociedad midfielder Asier Illarramendi will undergo a late fitness test ahead of the weekend clash against Real Madrid after suffering a muscle injury in last Saturday's win at Sevilla.

Forward Carlos Vela is suspended after accumulating 10 yellow cards, while defender Mikel Gonzalez is back in contention after returning from a one-match ban.

Madrid trio Sergio Ramos, Fabio Coentrao and Xabi Alonso sustained knocks in the Copa del Rey final defeat against Atletico Madrid and are doubtful to feature.

Defender Raphael Varane (knee) is definitely out but forward Cristiano Ronaldo is available as his two-game ban for his red card in the final only applies to Copa matches.

DID YOU KNOW?
Real Sociedad have only won two of their last five matches in La Liga (W2, D2, L1).
The Basque outfit have lost their last seven Liga encounters with Real Madrid.
Philippe Montanier will leave Sociedad to join Ligue 1 side Rennes at the end of the season.
Real Madrid have just won two of their last six away matches in all competitions (W2, D2, L2).
Los Blancos' last defeat away to Real Sociedad came in January 2004.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored six goals in his last four appearances against Sociedad.

Prediction
Sociedad have been hit by the news Montanier will leave the club at the end of the campaign despite the likelihood of Champions League football next season, while the visitors are also preparing for managerial change in the summer after confirming the departure of Jose Mourinho earlier in the week. The home side have all to play for, however, as they bid to secure a lucrative top-four spot and could stretch Madrid's winless run to three matches in all competitions.

Espanyol duo Hector Moreno and Christian Stuani are both carrying thigh injuries and are doubtful to feature in the 158th Catalan derby against Barcelona.

Midfielder Sergio Tejera is suspended but defenders Joan Capdevila and Joan Forlin both return after serving bans.

Meanwhile, Espanyol announced young defender Victor Alvarez successfully underwent surgery on Thursday to correct a minor heart defect.

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi will not be available as he is yet to recover from a hamstring injury.

Defenders Dani Alves (thigh) and Adriano (back) are expected to be available after missing the win over Real Valladolid, but Carles Puyol (knee) remains sidelined.

DID YOU KNOW?
Espanyol are on a four-match winless run in La Liga, losing three.
Los Periquitos have lost four of their last five meetings with Barcelona.
Simao made 69 appearances for Barca between 1999 and 2001, scoring four goals.
Barcelona have only won two of their last eight away matches in all competitions (W2, D3, L3).
The Catalan giants must win their last two games to equal Real Madrid's record tally of 100 points from last season.
Barca's last away defeat to Espanyol came in January 2007.

Prediction
The 158th Catalan derby has nothing riding on it but local pride, with Barcelona having wrapped up the Liga title and Espanyol having secured their top-flight status for next season. The visitors are in a decent run of form having won their last three Liga matches, but the Cornella-El Prat can be an intimidating place to visit and the hosts will be eager for some end-of-season bragging rights.

They will hate to admit it, but Rome's two footballing tenants have never been closer.

Roma and Lazio head into Sunday's Coppa Italia final on the back of a Serie A season that has seen them finish within just a point of one another in the league table.

Aurelio Andreazzoli's Giallorossi took sixth spot on 62 points, with Vladimir Petkovic's men finishing in seventh and with neither side able to secure European football by way of their efforts in the league, the cup final has an added importance.

Along with local bragging rights, a Europa League spot is up for grabs for the winners of Sunday's clash, while Roma will be spurred on further in their quest to lift the trophy for a record 10th time.

The Giallorossi are able to boast a clean bill of health heading into the game, while Lazio are without Christian Brocchi and Mauro Zarate through injury - though Alvaro Gonzalez should be fit to make the bench.

DID YOU KNOW?
There have been over 2.5 goals scored in eight of Lazio's last 10 Coppa Italia games.
The Biancocelesti have won two of their last six matches.
Vladimir Petkovic's men have taken four points from their two encounters against Roma this season, winning 3-2 last November and drawing 1-1 in April.
There have been over 2.5 goals scored in five of Roma's last six games in the Coppa Italia.
This is the first time Roma and Lazio have faced one another in a Coppa Italia final.
Roma can become the first team in history to win 10 Coppa Italia titles.
Sunday's clash falls on the same day as the election to instate the new mayor of Rome.

Prediction
Roma may well have finished a point and a place better off than Lazio in Serie A, but it is the Biancocelesti who have fared better in the head-to-head clashes between the sides this season.

Add to that the unsettling rumours of AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri potentially taking over the Giallorossi reins and Vladimir Petkovic's men suddenly appear slight favourites to nick the tightest of finals.

Editor's Prediction
Roma 0-1 Lazio

Borussia Dortmund's Champions League hopes were dealt a blow by the confirmation that Mario Gotze will miss the final due to a thigh injury.

Kevin Grosskreutz is expected to take the 20-year-old's place in the XI, with Marco Reus shifting into the centre of the attacking trio behind Robert Lewandowski.

At the back, Lukasz Piszczek is fit to play, but will undergo thigh surgery in the summer, while Mats Hummels is expected to shake off a minor ankle injury to feature against the club that bred him.

Meanwhile, the only major question mark in the Bayern Munich ranks is as to whom will partner Dante at centre-back.

With Holger Badstuber missing since December, Daniel Van Buyten and Jerome Boateng have been rotated at the heart of defence, but the Belgian is the more likely to start the final.

Toni Kroos remains sidelined after picking up a muscle injury in the quarter-final first leg against Juventus, so Arjen Robben will continue on the right, with Thomas Muller lining up behind lone striker Mario Mandzukic, who should keep his place ahead of Mario Gomez.

DID YOU KNOW?
Borussia Dortmund have won the Champions League on one previous occasion, beating Juventus 3-1 to claim the trophy in 1997.
Jurgen Klopp's side triumphed 5-2 against Bayern Munich last season in the DFB-Pokal final, with Robert Lewandowski (pictured) scoring a hat-trick.
Defender Mats Hummels joined BVB from Bayern back in 2009 after a successful loan spell at Signal Iduna Park.
Injured playmaker Mario Gotze has already agreed a deal which will see him move to Bayern at the season's end.
Bayern Munich are seeking to win their fifth European Cup and join Liverpool as the joint-third most successful team in the competition's history, behind AC Milan and Real Madrid.
The Bavarians are unbeaten against BVB in all four of the teams' meeting this season, drawing 1-1 twice in the Bundesliga, and beating their rivals 2-1 and 1-0 in the Supercup and Pokal respectively.
The only previous all-German final in the history of European club competition was in the 1980 Uefa Cup final, when Eintracht Frankfurt beat Borussia Monchengladbach on away goals after recording a 3-3 draw over two legs.

Prediction
Bayern may have finished the Bundesliga 25 points ahead of Dortmund but they cannot expect an easy ride at Wembley. BVB, angry at losing their domestic title and Mario Gotze to the Bavarians, will be all the more eager for victory and I can see this one going all the way to penalties - then it's anyone's game.

Editor's Prediction
Dortmund 2-2 Bayern

UEFA Champions League Final Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund Preview

Wembley awaits for this year's German finalists Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich in what will be the 100th official meeting between the two. This final will be the first all-German European Cup Final affair and only the fourth time that the final has featured teams from the same country.
Borussia Dortmund defeated Real Madrid in the semi-finals with a 4-3 aggregate win, after a sensational 4-1 victory in the first leg and Robert Lewandowski grabbing all 4 goals. Bayern on the other hand, eased past arguably the best side of this generation by beating Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate.
Dortmund are undefeated against Bayern in their last six league games, but Bayern are undefeated in the four competitive games this season, so the game looks as if it could go either way. The last meeting between the two on neutral ground was in last season's DFB-Pokal final with Dortmund running out 5-2 winners that day.
After winning the German title for the last two years, this year's Bundesliga runners-up Borussia Dortmund will be looking to end the season on a high after losing the title to Bayern Munich, and you can back them at 18/5 to win the match. Dortmund will be even further determined to get one over on their rivals after Bayern announced they had activated the release clause in star performer Mario Götze's contract and will sign for the Bavarians this summer for a fee in the region of 37 million euros. Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic (7) has more assists than Götze (5) in this season's Champions League and only Cristiano Ronaldo (12) has scored more goals than Robert Lewandowski (10) - and you can back either to score first at 8/5.
Meanwhile, Bundesliga Champions and DFB-Pokal finalists Bayern will have the extra incentive of being the first German club to win the Treble after just missing out on that achievement in the 1999 Final to Man United. Only six clubs have managed that feat previously with Jose Mourinho's Inter the last club to do so back in 2010.
Bayern go into the match looking very solid, winning all four games in Quarter Finals and Semi Finals without conceding a single goal. In fact, the Munich side have only conceded 18 goals in 34 Bundesliga matches so it is no surprise that Munich are the bookies favourites to win the match at 4/5, especially after wrestling the title back from their final opponents by an impressive 25 point margin.
Despite both teams running a very tight defensive ship, expect a very lively and entertaining final between Germany's finest and with such a fantastic array of attacking talent on show from both sides, neither will just sit back so it seems as if Wembley could witness another epic encounter for the second time in three years.

La Liga Opta Facts: 26 May

Atletico Madrid v Mallorca
Atletico Madrid have only won two of their last eight league meetings with Mallorca (D3 L3).
The Balearic side have drawn four of their last six trips to the Vicente Calderon in La Liga (L2), with all four ending 1-1.
Over the last seven seasons, only against Real Madrid (0) have Atletico won fewer home games than they have against Mallorca (2, minimum seven games played).
Diego Simeone's side have won just one of their last five home league games, losing three (D1).
Gregorio Manzano has only lost two of his 12 La Liga games as a manager against his former club (W5 D5).

Champions League Final 2012-2013 Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund: Opta Facts

Written By maxtv on Thursday, 23 May 2013 | 20:45

This final will be the first all-German clash in a European Cup final. 2000 (Spain), 2003 (Italy) and 2008 (England) are the three previous occasions of teams from the country meeting in the Champions League final.
A German team is guaranteed to win the Champions League for a third time. Dortmund in 1997 and Bayern in 2001 were the previous winners.
Bayern Munich have lost three of the four finals they have played in. Borussia Dortmund were victorious in the only final they have played.
Only once before have two German teams met in the final of a European competition. In 1980, Eintracht Frankfurt won the UEFA Cup beating Borussia Mönchengladbach in the final (losing 2-3 away in the first leg before winning the second 1-0 at home). Gladbach coach back then was Jupp Heynckes, the current Bayern boss.
Dortmund are undefeated against Bayern in their last six league games (four wins, two draws). However, Munich are undefeated in four competitive games this season (two wins in the Super Cup and DFB-Pokal and two draws in the Bundesliga).
The last duel on neutral ground between Bayern and Dortmund was the 2012 DFB-Pokal final. Dortmund won 5-2.
Bayern won all four games in the Quarter Final and Semi Finals without conceding a goal (11-0 on aggregate). They are only the fifth team in Champions League history to not concede a goal in any of their four matches in these two rounds.
This is Jupp Heynckes' third Champions League campaign as a coach. In all three seasons he has reached the final. In 1998 he won the trophy with Real Madrid and last year, he lost the final with Bayern Munich.
Bayern could become the first German team to win the Treble (league championship, domestic cup, and the Champions League or European Cup). Six clubs have managed it previously; with the last being Inter Milan in 2010.
Mario Götze will transfer to Bayern Munich this summer for a fee of 37 million euros. Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic had more assists in this Champions League campaign (7) than Götze (5).
Only Cristiano Ronaldo (12) has scored more goals in the Champions League this season than Robert Lewandowski (10). Bayern's top scorer is Thomas Müller with eight.
Neven Subotic (133) and Mats Hummels (106) have been forced into making more clearances than any other players in the Champions League this season.
Javi Martinez has made 39 interceptions; more than any other player in the Champions League this season. Only Arturo Vidal (44) has made more tackles than Martinez's midfield partner Bastian Schweinsteiger (43).
Six of the 10 goals Bayern have conceded in the competition this season have been scored in the final 15 minutes of their matches.
Bayern have scored more headed goals in the Champions League than any other side this season.
BVB have kept just three clean sheets in their last 12 European matches.
Just one of the last five Champions League finals has gone over 2.5 goals. However, that final was also played at Wembley (Barcelona 3-1 Manchester United in 2011).

Coach Miroslav Dukic has no injury concerns for the Camp Nou clash.

Siena approach their last Serie A fixture for quite some time following their relegation last week with almost a full-strength squad to call upon, as only veteran captain Simone Vergassola, Carlos Matheu and Nicola Pozzi are ruled out for the visit of AC Milan.

Nonetheless, coach Beppe Iachini is expected to name a second-string side against the Rossoneri, with only Alessio Sestu and Claudio Terzi likely to retain their places from last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Napoli.

Milan, on the the hand, have successfully turned their season around and lie one match away from featuring in next season's Champions League for a fifth consecutive campaign.

To achieve their feat, only Nigel de Jong and Bojan Krkic are missing through injury, while Sulley Muntari is suspended. With that in mind, the Ghanaian midfielder will be replaced by Riccardo Montolivo.

DID YOU KNOW?
Milan only need to better Fiorentina's result or win at San Siro to finish third.

Barring a defeat to champions Juventus last month, the Rossoneri have not lost a Serie A match since the turn of the year.
They have failed to qualify for the Champions League just twice since the millennium.
Siena have lost their last five matches on the bounce.

In addition, their record against Milan is poor with just one win in 14 previous meetings.
Innocent Emeghara has been a rare bright spot in the Tuscans' season with an impressive seven goals in just 12 appearances.

Prediction
With Siena's relegation to Serie B already sealed, Milan still have everything to play for after Fiorentina took the race for Serie A's third and final Champions League place down to the wire last weekend but should run out as comfortable victors at the Artemio Franchi.

Marc Antoine Fortune returns from a ban while Chris Brunt may replace Markus Rosenberg to make a first start since the 1-1 draw with Newcastle following a knee injury.

Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to tinker with the United line-up for his final game in charge and has already revealed that Phil Jones and Jonny Evans will be the central defensive partnership, while Anders Lindegaard will replace David De Gea in goal.

Rafael serves the second of a three-match ban while it is unlikely the unsettled Wayne Rooney will be involved given the question marks surrounding his future.

Long-term injury victim Chris Smalling and Alexander Buttner may also be given runouts on what is set to be a memorable afternoon for everyone associated with the club, though Ashley Young (ankle) and Darren Fletcher (chronic bowel condition) remain sidelined.

DID YOU KNOW?

This is Sir Alex Ferguson's 1,500th and final match as Manchester United manager (W895, D337, L267).
Rio Ferdinand (pictured) scored his first United goal for 1,947 days against Swansea last weekend. His last strike came in a 6-0 thrashing of Newcastle in January 2008. He is 16/1 with bet365 to score anytime against the Baggies.

Europa League winners Chelsea are still without Eden Hazard (hamstring) and John Terry (ankle), who both sat out Wednesday’s triumph in Amsterdam after limping off against Aston Villa last Saturday.

Ryan Bertrand (knee) is also expected to miss the trip, while Demba Ba could well start up front after being ineligable to face Benfica.

David Moyes, also in his last game in charge, has no fresh injury concerns so the retiring Phil Neville (knee) is the only absentee, having sat on the sidelines since March.

The Toffees are set to keep the same XI from last week’s win over West Ham, with Victor Anichebe leading the line in front of Marouane Fellaini.

DID YOU KNOW?
Frank Lampard’s strike against Aston Villa last weekend was his 203rd for Chelsea, making him all-time top goalscorer at Stamford Bridge.
If this game finishes as a 0-0 draw and Arsenal win 2-1 at Newcastle, the two sides will face a play-off to see who finishes third in the Premier League. Read more here.

Everton are guaranteed a sixth-placed finish in the Premier League and will finish above rivals Liverpool for the second successive season; the first time they’ve done so in over 50 years.

Jamie Carragher starts his last game as a professional footballer and is expected to be partnered by Sebastian Coates at the heart of the Liverpool defence with Martin Skrtel (illness) unlikely to feature.

Star striker Loic Remy returned to training on Friday following allegations of rape, and is available for selection, while Christopher Samba could return from a knee injury that has forced him to the Rs last three games as Julio Cesar (back) is expected to remain out.

DID YOU KNOW?
Jamie Carragher (pictured) ends his Liverpool career having played, to date, 737 games for the club, scoring five goals. He is 5/1 to score at any time on Sunday.
The Reds icon has the unfortunate record of scoring more own goals than goals however, having sent eight in his own net.
Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in 10 of their last 15 Premier League home matches.
Brendan Rodgers' side have won more top-flight games without Luis Suarez (58%) than with him (39%).
QPR have only managed to score 17 goals on the road this term, however that is more than the 13 notched at Loftus Road.

Manchester City have few injuries, with only Kolo Toure (knee) and Scott Sinclair (shoulder) looking likely absentees.

Indeed, the main pre-match questions are regarding caretaker manager Brian Kidd's selection plans, with the likes of Maicon, James Milner, Javi Garcia, Jack Rodwell and Edin Dzeko all vying for a starting berth.

Norwich have a similarly near-fully fit squad and thus could elect to select the same starting XI that dismantled West Brom last week. Michael Turner (groin) and Andrew Surman (knee) are expected to miss out again.

DID YOU KNOW?
Manchester City have won eight and draw one of their nine league matches played at the Etihad Stadium since their 3-2 defeat to Manchester United on December 9.

Andre Villas-Boas appears likely to keep faith in predominantly the same team that earned a 2-1 win at Stoke last Sunday.

Mousa Dembele does, however, appear primed to replace Scott Parker in the centre of midfield as he returns from the hamstring injury that ruled him out of the past two games, with William Gallas (calf) the only fresh injury concern.

Paolo Di Canio, meanwhile, is set to make a variety of enforced changes from the side that secured survival during the week.

As Danny Rose is ineligible to face parent club Spurs, Titus Bramble looks ready to come in at centre-back, with John O'Shea moving to left-back.

Matters are made even worse by the continued suspension of both Stephane Sessegnon and Craig Gardner, while Lee Cattermole and Steven Fletcher remain ruled out through injury.

DID YOU KNOW?
Sunderland have only won one of their last eight league games against Tottenham, losing four, and lost nine of their last 11 at White Hart Lane.
The Black Cats can take solace in the fact that they have garnered eight points from their six games under Paolo Di Canio; they had earned a meagre three points from their last eight games managed by Martin O'Neill.
No side has scored fewer goals in the opening 15 minutes of matches or in the final 15 minutes of matches than Sunderland this season.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has a host of injury and suspension troubles ahead of his side's season finale with Champions League-chasing Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Midfielder Cheikh Tiote (hamstring) was forced off early in the win over QPR last time out, but is expected to be fit to start. However, fellow enforcer Moussa Sissoko, striker Shola Ameobi and defender Ryan Taylor (all knee) are out.

Davide Santon (hamstring) is back in training and could come back into contention, whilst Steven Taylor (illness) and Massadio Haidara (hamstring) could also return to the first-team squad.

Goalkeeper Steve Harper, who has been with the club since 1993, will play his last game at St. James' Park as Tim Krul (shoulder) is unavailable and Rob Elliot serves a one-match ban after seeing red at QPR last time out.

Arsene Wenger could be without the influential Mikel Arteta (calf) for the do-or-die clash with the Mapgpies after the Spanish midfielder picked up a knock late on in Tuesday’s win over Wigan.

The Gunners boss has few other injury problems to contend with, however, with long-term absentee Abou Diaby (knee) the only other player definatley out.

Jack Wilshere, who will have surgery on an ankle problem at the end of the season, could return to the heart of midfield, whilst France striker Olivier Giroud is available for selection after completing a three match ban.

DID YOU KNOW?
Newcastle secured their Premier League safety for another season with a win at QPR last time out. A win against Arsenal could ensure they complete a second consecutive top-ten finish after earning fifth place last campaign.
The Magpies can claim a maximum tally of 44 points with victory on Sunday. That would be their lowest points tally in the Premier League since they were relegated with 34 in 2008-09.
Alan Pardew's side have shared the points just once at St James' Park this season. Only Manchester United (0) have drawn more home games.
Newcastle have failed to score in their last two home games (0-3 vs Sunderland and 0-6 vs Liverpool). August 2007 was the last time they failed to score in three consecutive games at St. James' Park.
Arsenal can earn Champions League qualification for the 16th consecutive season with a win. A loss or draw will also be enough if north London rivals Tottenham fail to beat Newcastle's fierce foes Sunderland.
The Gunners currently lie fourth with 70 points. They earned that same amount when finishing third in the Premier League last season.
Arsene Wenger's side can still claim third place in this season's competition depending on how Chelsea get on against Everton, with a play-off a possibility depending on the scores.
Arsenal are the best side in the Premier League in the second half of games. The Gunners would top the league with 71 points if results based solely on the second period were considered.
Theo Walcott scored a hat-trick in the reverse fixture earlier this season when the Gunners crushed Newcastle 7-3 at the Emirates Stadium. He is 9/2 with bet365 to score two or more on Sunday.

Newly-crowned Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are unlikely to change too much from the side that clinched their third French title at Olympique Lyonnais last week.

Marco Verratti and Salvatore Sirigu return from suspension and should feature, with Carlo Ancelotti insisting that the club will not slow down despite the title being sealed last week.

Former England captain David Beckham - who announced his intention to retire at the end of the season - will likely start on the bench for what will be his final home game of a glittering career.

Stade Brestois, who were relegated following Evian's 4-0 win over Nice last weekend, are also unlikely to differ too much in starting personnel, though coach Corentin Martins has hinted at a reshuffle.

DID YOU KNOW?
Paris Saint-Germain have won the Ligue 1 title for only the third time in their history at Lyon last weekend.
Carlo Ancelotti's side are unbeaten in their last nine Ligue 1 fixtures.
The capital club are unbeaten in their last 11 home league games, winning nine of those.
Stade Brestois became the first side to be relegated from this season's Ligue 1 following 17th-placed Evian's 4-0 win over Nice.
Brest have only won once in their last 12 visits to the capital.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has 27 goals in the top-flight, three less than the entire Brest team (30).

Prediction
The stark contrast between the two sides is evident. The newly-crowned champions take on an already- relegated side, who have nothing but pride to play for. Brest have been undeniably poor in the last two months, with consecutive losses adding to their demise. Expect a comfortable home win in front of their own fans.

Editor's Prediction
PSG 3-0 Brest

Juventus have already been crowned champions and Sampdoria are safe from a final day relegation battle - which should surely mean nothing more than a pedestrian-paced dead rubber on Sunday.

But the Bianconeri were stung by their hosts this weekend back in January, going down 2-1 at Juventus Stadium thanks to Mauro Icardi's double, and that may add spice to this final day encounter.

Antonio Conte is likely to name a strong side but will again be without Nicklas Bendtner, Kwadwo Asamoah, Andrea Barzagli and Simone Pepe.

Sampdoria have enjoyed a solid first season back in Serie A and, though they are without Andrea Costa, Jonathan Rossini and Nenad Krsticic through injury, as well as the suspended Renan, they will hope to finish the campaign by ruffling Juve's feathers for a second time.

DID YOU KNOW?
Juventus have firmly sealed their status as Serie A's finest side with a second imperious campaign on the bounce & they go into Sunday's game nine points clear at the top.

The Bianconeri have achieved their domestic dominance without a prolific centre forward. Mirko Vucinic is the club's top scorer this season with 10 goals.
The first fixture between these two sides saw Sampdoria stun Juventus 2-1 back in January, with Mauro Icardi scoring twice.
Sampdoria were promoted from Serie B last season and can finish as high as their current 15th position.
Icardi is the club's top goalscorer with nine strikes to his name - with his efforts reportedly catching the eye of Inter.
Samp coach Delio Rossi replaced Ciro Ferrara as coach in December.

Prediction
The game is effectively a dead rubber, but with several Juventus players being given the opportunity to impress by Antonio Conte, expect the Bianconeri to record a reverse of the scoreline when the two teams met back in January.

Editor's Prediction
Sampdoria 1-2 Juventus

Setubalu dovoljan bod POSLEDNJE KOLO U PORTUGALU 1 - “PROKUVALO” NA ZAČELJU
