Barcelona forward Pedro is available for Saturday's Primera Division encounter against Deportivo La Coruna after overcoming a bout of flu.

However, playmaker Xavi is still sidelined with a hamstring problem, while Victor Valdes and Gerard Pique are suspended.

Assistant coach Jordi Roura is likely to rest many of his regular starters with Tuesday's crucial Champions League clash against AC Milan in mind.

Ze Castro, Kaka and Riki are all out injured for Deportivo, while Carlos Marchena is suspended.

Youngster Pablo Insua is expected to partner Aythami in the centre of defence.

DID YOU KNOW?

Barcelona have lost three of their last four matches in all competitions.

The Catalan giants have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 13 matches across all competitions.

Lionel Messi has scored in a record 16 consecutive Liga appearances.

Deportivo La Coruna ended a six-match losing run with a goalless draw at home to Rayo Vallecano last weekend.

The Galician outfit have lost four of their last five meetings with Barcelona.

Deportivo's last win over Barca at Camp Nou was a 2-0 success in October 2003.

Prediction
Barcelona will be hurting after successive defeats against Real Madrid and will want to make a statement of intent ahead of their showdown with Milan. Deportivo picked up their first point under new coach Fernando Vasquez against Rayo Vallecano, but they lack the quality to capitalise on the opposition's defensive lapses.

With the Premier League title a distant hope, Roberto Mancini is expected to field a strong side in order to keep his team in the hunt for silverware.

Costel Pantilimon should keep his place in goal ahead of the rested Joe Hart, having played in each of the previous three rounds.

Captain Vincent Kompany will not be risked as he makes his was back from a calf injury, meaning Kolo Toure should continue alongside Matija Nastasic in defence following his Man of the Match performance in Monday's win over Aston Villa.

Jack Rodwell (hamstring) is unfit after going off at Villa Park, and Sergio Aguero will also miss out after suffering a knee injury in training.

Barnsley are without left-back Scott Golbourne, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in the last round against MK Dons.

The Tykes are expected to revert back to a 4-4-2 formation, with Marlon Harewood dropping to the bench after starting in an adventurous front three against Burnley. Tomasz Cywka, who grabbed the late equaliser in that match, could replace him in the starting 11.

City loanee Ryan Tunnicliffe is ineligible to face his former side, while on-loan Stoke midfielder Rory Delap will compete with former Chelsea youngster Jacob Mellis for a starting spot alongside David Perkins in the middle of the park.

Jason Scotland should continue in his role as 'super sub', with Chris O'Grady expected to partner Chris Dagnall up front.

DID YOU KNOW?

Manchester City have faced Barnsley twice before in the FA Cup (both at home), winning 2-1 in 1947/48 (round three) and 2-0 in 1992/93 (round five).

This is the first time Barnsley have made it past the third round since the 2007/8 season, when they famously defeated Liverpool and Chelsea to reach the semi-finals.

Tykes boss David Flitcroft is the brother of former City midfielder Garry, who made 134 appearances for the club between 1992 and 1996.

The Yorkshire side also have Kelvin Etuhu in their ranks, who came through the youth system at the Etihad Stadium and scored one goal for the first team before moving on.

Roberto Mancini’s side are unbeaten in nine games against lower league sides in the FA Cup, winning their last four in a row without conceding a single goal, while scoring 13.

City have lost four of their last five FA Cup quarter-finals, though they did win their last one in 2011 against Reading on the way to lifting the trophy.

The hosts' sturdy defence have kept six clean sheets in their last seven home games in all competitions. Manchester City are 11/2 to beat Barnsley 3-0 with bet365.

Prediction
Roberto Mancini's men have been ruthlessly efficient against lower league opposition during his time at the club, and their combination of a watertight defence and prolific firepower should prove all too much for Barnsley.

Editor's Prediction
Manchester City 3-0 Barnsley

Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti will welcome back Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Verratti after they were both suspended for the club's 1-1 draw with Valencia in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Christophe Jallet was forced off, meaning Gregory van der Wiel is likely to continue at right-back. Thiago Motta meanwhile, is set to make way for Verratti. David Beckham could also be handed a start, depending on whether the 53-year-old opts for a slight rotation of players.

Meanwhile, Nancy boss Patrick Gabriel is without various players through injury or suspension as they seek to spring a shock at the Parc des Princes.

Florian Zitte is suspended, meaning Paul Alo'o Efoulou will revert to the lead striker role, as Romain Grange and Vincent Muratori both miss out through injury.

DID YOU KNOW?

Paris Saint-Germain sit top of the Ligue 1 table, despite losing 1-0 to Stade de Reims last weekend. They lead Olympique Lyonnais by three points.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have kept one clean sheet in their last four Ligue 1 encounters.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the winner when the two sides met earlier this season. PSG scraped the encounter 1-0 at Stade Marcel Picot.

Nancy sit precariously in 19th position, six points adrift of safety.

The club have won their last two games in all competitions, including a 2-1 win over Sochaux last weekend.

ASNL were the only side to do the double over PSG last season, winning 2-1 last March, as well as winning 1-0 on their last visit to the Parc des Princes.

Prediction
Despite their rocky results away from home recently against sides in the bottom half of the table, PSG are a much more formidable outfit at home, especially with the returning Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Nancy have done it here before, but Ancelotti's side are more than capable of seeing them off.

Editor's Prediction
PSG 2-0 Nancy

Borussia Dortmund are flying high after Tuesday’s elimination of Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, although with Bayern Munich 17 points clear in the Bundesliga table, die Schwarzgelben will be mostly concerned with sealing second place over the next 10 rounds.
Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp will be without Sven Bender in this derby as the midfielder continues his battle for full fitness, and right-back Patrick Owomoyela remains sidelined and has not featured all season.

He will, however, have top-scorer Robert Lewandowski available for selection following the Poland international’s suspension, and defender Mats Hummels has recovered from his bout of flu.

Schalke, in sixth place and 10 points adrift of their second-placed arch-rivals, are still without goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall, who has a knee injury, while winger Ibrahim Afellay also misses out with a muscle problem.

Jens Keller will also be without central defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos, who is recovering following knee surgery, and midfielder Jermaine Jones is suspended.

Dortmund will be buoyed by their Champions League success on Tuesday night and with confidence high, expect another morale-boosting away win as they bid to firm up second place.

Statistika - NAJMANJE POGODAKA NA MEČEVIMA FRANCUSKOG TREĆELIGAŠA I VOJVODINE

Vojvodina (Srbija) 17 17-9 26 1.53
Gimaraeš B (Portugal 2) 29 14-32 46 1.59
Andrija (Serija C1B) 22 17-20 37 1.68
Janjina (Grčka) 24 21-20 41 1.71
