Juventus can play their strongest side against Bologna on Saturday and will be buoyed by the return of midfielder Arturo Vidal who was suspended for last week's 1-0 win over Catania.

He is likely to replace Paul Pogba, who scored a last-minute winner against the Rossoblu back in October, and received a call up to the France squad for the double-header against Georgia and Spain.

Antonio Conte, however, has Martin Caceres, Simone Pepe and Nicklas Bendtner unavailable, though none of them would have been likely to make the starting XI had they been fit.

Sebastian Giovinvo, whose agent recently declared his client was content at Juventus Stadium despite rumours of an exit in the summer, is expected to continue alongside Mirko Vucinic, however, Alessandro Matri could also be in contention to partner the Montenegrin.

Meanwhile for the hosts, Stefano Pioli will be forced into making one change as defender Frederik Sorensen has been ruled out of the encounter after the injury he suffered against Inter last week. Nicolo Cherubin is likely to deputise in his absence as he is preferred to Naldo.

It is a special game for Bologna's Manolo Gabbiadini as the 21-year-old, who has netted five times this season in Serie A, will be desperate to impress against the Old Lady - his parent club.

DID YOU KNOW?

Bologna are on a promising run just now having seen off Inter 1-0 last weekend to record their third victory in a row.

The Rossoblu have just won one match in their last 25 against the Old Lady (in all competitions), and that came back in February 2011 when Marco Di Vaio grabbed a double to give them a 2-0 victory.

Stefano Pioli's men have only been beaten three times at home this season: Parma, Milan and Inter have taken maximum points away from the Dall'Ara.

Juventus have recorded the two wins in their last five matches away from home in Serie A.

The Bianconeri are 10 league games unbeaten as the visitors. The last time Bologna won at home against the Old Lady was in 1998 - a 3-0 success that day.

The last two league games at Dall'Ara have ended in draws.

Prediction
This has the makings of a very tight encounter. The hosts by their own admission are on a great run of form having recorded three straight victories including the scalp of Inter, while Juventus continue to grind out results while others below them drop points. The Bianconeri have a good record against the Rossoblu but there have been a few draws in there, too and this could be another one on Saturday.

Editor's Prediction
Bologna 1-1 Juventus

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is expected to start Saturday's clash against Mallorca after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Angel Di Maria is out with a hamstring problem and, along with long-term injury victim Iker Casillas, is the only confirmed absentee for the Santiago Bernabeu clash.

Midfielders Jose Luis Marti and Javi Marquez miss out for Mallorca through suspension, but Michael Pereira returns following a one-match ban.

On-loan defender Pedro Geromel has recovered from a hamstring problem and is likely to partner Jose Nunes in central defence.

DID YOU KNOW?

Real Madrid are on a six-match winning run in all competitions.

Los Merengues are on a 36-match unbeaten run at the Santiago Bernabeu across all competitions (W29, D7).

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 19 goals in 16 appearances for Madrid in 2013.

Mallorca have lost four of their last five matches away from home in La Liga.

The Islanders have lost six of their last seven encounters against Madrid.

Mallorca's last Liga win at the Bernabeu was a 3-1 success in May 2009.

Prediction
With no midweek fixture to distract them, Madrid will go all out to record a big win and put some pressure on Barcelona, who play on Sunday. Mallorca travel to the Bernabeu after back-to-back wins over Granada and Sevilla, but they will have to work very hard to subdue the home side's attacking threat.

Editor's Prediction
Real Madrid 3-0 Mallorca

Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that full-backs Patrice Evra and Rafael were knackered after the 2-2 draw with Chelsea last Sunday, but are not expected to be rested after nearly a week off between games.

Darren Fletcher (bowel condition) will miss the remainder of the season, while Nani (hamstring), Paul Scholes (knee) and Phil Jones (ankle) are all doubtful and will undergo late fitness tests.

Ahead of his first match in charge of Reading's first team, caretake boss Eamonn Dolan has a few injury concerns to contend with ahead of the trip to Old Trafford.

Goalkeeper Adam Frederici (ankle) looks set to be out until the end of March and he is joined by Jimmy Kebe (groin) and Pavel Pogrebnyak (three-match suspension).

Jason Roberts (hip) continues to miss out, but Alex McCarthy has been back in training and looks to be touch-and-go due to a lack of match fitness.

DID YOU KNOW?

Following Brian McDermott's sacking, academy coach Eamonn Dolan will take charge of his first match for Reading's senior side on Saturday.

The Royals have not beaten Manchester United since 1927 when they triumphed over the Red Devils in the FA Cup.

Reading come into this match on the back of five consecutive defeats in all competitions.

The Royals have already lost twice to United so far this season, losing 4-3 at the Madejski Stadium in the league and 2-1 at Old Trafford in the FA Cup.

United have come out with three points in 14 of their last 16 Premier League matches.

The only team to beat the hosts in their last 20 fixtures is Real Madrid.

Reading have completed the least amount of passes in the league with 69 per cent meeting the intended target.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side, on the other hand, have completed 85.7% of their passes, a stat bettered only by Arsenal.

Robin van Persie has scored just one goal since the end of January, coming against Everton over a month ago on February 10. He is 15/8 with bet365 to score two or more goals on Saturday.

Prediction
There are plenty things to consider coming into this fixture, with United looking to banish those recent Real Madrid and Chelsea results from memory and Reading being managerless heading into a vital relegation-threatened run-in. This match seems to have only one likely outcome; a comfortable home win.

Editor's Prediction

Bayern Munich are expected to make two changes from the team that lost 2-0 at home to Arsenal in midweek. Bastian Schweinsteiger is available again after his continental suspension and will replace Luiz Gustavo in midfield.

Elsewhere, Mario Gomez could come back into the starting XI in the place of Mario Mandzukic, whose form has trailed off in recent weeks. Holger Badstuber remains sidelined, while Franck Ribery is lacking fitness.

Meanwhile, Leverkusen will be sweating over the fitness of Omer Toprak, who was forced out of the game against Stuttgart with a knee injury a fortnight ago, and missed the trip to Mainz.

The only absence is Karim Bellarabi, who is unfit, while Sebastian Boenisch may slot back in on the left-hand side of defence instead of Michal Kadlec.

DID YOU KNOW?

Leverkusen have won their last two games against Bayern, recording a 2-0 triumph at the BayArena last season and a 2-1 win in Bavaria this term.

Lars Bender is set to make his 100th league appearance for Leverkusen after being handed his debut for the club by current Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes.

Heynckes had the same points-per-game rate at B04 as current co-coaches Sascha Lewandowski and Sami Hyypia.

Bayern Munich's 20-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga is the largest the division has ever seen.
The Bavarians are chasing a Bundesliga record 12th away win on Saturday.

A point at the BayArena would see them confirm their place in next season's Champions League with eight games to spare.

Prediction
Leverkusen may have gone off the boil of late, but so have Bayern, whose defence looks to be more susceptible than usual in recent weeks. Both sides remain capable of scoring goals, and I'd expect them to play out an enthralling draw.

Editor's Prediction
Leverkusen 2-2 Bayern

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup will be without defender Chico Flores (ankle) and Kemy Agustien (thigh) for the clash with Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium.

Midfielder Leon Britton is expected to be fit after missing Saturday's defeat to West Brom with a hip injury, while striker Luke Moore should also make the squad after a calf problem.

Defender Neil Taylor (ankle) made a first appearance since September when appearing in a Under-21s clash in midweek but this game may come to early for the Welshman.

Arsene Wenger will be without Jack Wilshere (ankle) and Bacary Sagna (knee) until at least the end of March, whilst Lukas Podolski (ankle) missed the midweek win in Munich and may once again be unavailable.

Nacho Monreal returns to the first-team squad after being ineligable for the club's Champions League campaign and could replace Kieran Gibbs at left-back. Lukas Fabianski should retain the No.1 shirt, with Wenger claiming that regular first-choice Wojciech Szczesny is suffering from "mental fatigue".

DID YOU KNOW?

Swansea City and Arsenal have met each other three times already this season (once in the league, twice in the FA Cup), with one win apiece and one draw.

The Swans have beaten Arsenal in their last two Premier League meetings, their last double over Arsenal coming in the 1981-82 season.

Swansea have won their last three home games on the bounce.

Laudrup's men have scored four goals against Arsenal this season, with Michu bagging three of them.
Arsenal have lost two of their last three away matches in the Premier League.

If only second-half results counted, the Gunners would be top of the Premier League table with 54 points.

Olivier Giroud's third-minute goal against Bayern Munich ended a personal scoring drought of 497 minutes.

Six of the seven goals scored in games between these two sides this season have come in the final 10 minutes. Bet365 offer 5/6 for there to be a goal scored in the 76th minute or later.

Prediction
Arsenal will no doubt be buoyed by their performance against Bayern Munich on Wednesday as they look for three valuable points to ensure that they can play in the Champions League next season. They will also be desperate for revenge after the Swans defeated them at the Emirates Stadium earlier this campaign.

Swansea's season is all but over, with the Capital One Cup and European qualification in the bag, and they may be subconsciously ready hit the beach early, which should count in favour of the visitors.

Mauricio Pochettino has a fully fit squad to choose from, with Steven Davis (illness) and Danny Fox (thigh) having returned following time spent on the sidelines.

The Southampton manager faces a selection headache over his back four, following Maya Yoshida's solid performance in an unfamiliar right-back position in the 0-0 draw at Norwich. The Japanese defender may retain his place in the team ahead of usual full-back Nathaniel Clyne.

The pace of Jason Puncheon may be preferred to the guile of Jay Rodriguez, who started on the wing at Carrow Road.

Pepe Reina faces a late fitness test after missing much of the last week's training due to a calf injury, meaning Brad Jones could keep his place in the Liverpool goal.

Brendan Rodgers admitted that Joe Allen will require surgery on a long-standing shoulder injury, but the Welshman could still be involved on Saturday.

The Reds manager has no further injury concerns, with Martin Skrtel now back in contention and challenging Jamie Carragher for a place in central defence.

DID YOU KNOW?

Southampton have won three of their last four home games against Liverpool, with each victory coming by a 2-0 margin.

The Reds are aiming to win four consecutive Premier League games for the first time since February 2011.

Mauricio Pochettino has only won one of his seven games in charge since replacing Nigel Adkins - 3-1 at home to Manchester City.

Only Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard remain from the last time these two sides went head-to-head at St. Mary's, back in January 2005

Southampton striker Rickie Lambert was a member of the Liverpool academy as a boy, and is a self-confessed Red.

Meanwhile, Adam Lallana admits to supporting Everton as a youngster, so will be especially keen to get one over Saturday's opponents.

Out of all the major European leagues, only Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, have scored more league goals than Luis Suarez so far this season.

Rickie Lambert is the highest-scoring Englishman in the Premier League, with 11 goals. He is 40/1 with bet365 to score the only goal in a 1-0 win for Southampton over Liverpool on Saturday.
With 19, Liverpool have had more shots per game than any other major European side, but average just under six on target.

They may be through to the quarter-final stage of the Champions League, but Borussia Dortmund have effectively been dethroned as German champions and are now in a two-way battle for second place with Bayer Leverkusen, who host leaders Bayern Munich in one of Saturday’s late kick-offs.
Although Dortmund have not lost to Freiburg since 2010, their chances of a sixth straight victory over the Bundesliga’s eighth-place side will be hampered by the absence of defender Mats Hummels, who was withdrawn at the break during last weekend’s derby loss to Schalke with an ankle injury. He will be replaced by the Brazilian Felipe Santana, who has started just 13 matches in all competitions this season.

Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is also likely to be without captain - and former Freiburg player - Sebastian Kehl, as the central midfielder battles niggling injuries.

Freiburg, who are winless in their past three Bundesliga matches but through to the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal, will be without central midfielder Cedric Makiadi due to a knee injury as well as striker Sebastian Freis, who continues to recover following shoulder surgery.

DID YOU KNOW?

Borussia Dortmund won the Bundesliga by eight points last season and seven points in 2011-12. They are currently 20 points adrift of current leaders Bayern Munich.

Dortmund captain Sebastian Kehl played parts of two seasons for Freiburg more than 10 years ago, contributing eight goals.

Dortmund have won just two of their last five Bundesliga matches and have kept only one clean sheet in their last six outings.

Freiburg are on course for their best finish in the Bundesliga since 2000-01, when they came fourth. They have since been relegated twice and earned their most recent promotion in 2008-09.

Hamburg are the only top-10 side to have managed fewer than Freiburg’s 32 goals from 25 matches so far this season.

Freiburg’s Under-19 side has won four of the last seven titles in that age category, including the previous two.

Prediction
Not surprisingly, Dortmund took their loss to Schalke extremely hard and will be looking to bounce back with a convincing win against Freiburg. And with Bayer Leverkusen occupied with Bayern Munich later in the day, the hosts will fancy their chances of padding a lead on the third-place side that is currently just a single point.

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard (back) is still unavailable, with Jan Mucha expected to continue to deputise.

Phil Jagielka (ankle) is David Moyes' only other concern as he nears fitness and may make the substitutes' bench for this game. Tony Hibbert remains the Toffees’ only long-term injury absentee after undergoing a calf operation.

For Manchester City, Sergio Aguero (knee) and Vincent Kompany (calf) have had recent injury problems but are in with a chance of featuring.

Both Micah Richards (knee) and Jack Rodwell (hamstring) remain sidelined, but may make a return before the end of the month. However, beyond these concerns, manager Roberto Mancini has no new worries ahead of this game.

DID YOU KNOW?

Everton have won just two of their last seven games in all competitions, including their 3-0 FA Cup quarter-final loss to Wigan last time out.

Toffees defender Sylvain Distin spent six years with the weekend opponents, being named club captain in the 2003-04 season. Distin is 18/1 wit bet365 to score anytime on Saturday.

The Toffees have won their last three games at home to Roberto Mancini's side.

Manchester City have won their last four games in all competitions, including twice in the FA Cup, since their embarrassing defeat away to Southampton in early February.

Joleon Lescott spent four years at Goodison Park but left for £24 million in 2009 to join the current Premier League champions.

In their last four games, despite missing defensive lnchpin Vincent Kompany through injury, City have not conceded a single goal.

The side's previous meeting this term ended in a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium after Marouane Fellaini’s goal was cancelled out by a Carlos Tevez penalty.

Prediction
Everton had a terrible game last time out against Wigan and will be hoping to rectify that in front of their home fans, while their recent record against Manchester City will give them great cause for hope. However, the champions should have too much for their opponents in the final third and will be hopeful of another win to keep their faint title hopes alive.

Editor's Prediction
Everton 0-2 Manchester City

Barclays Premier League Opta Facts – March 16-17

Portugalci u zasedi

Ponovo su nam se „javili” kiksevi. Prethodnog vikenda mnogi klubovi nisu opravdali ulogu favorita, a na većinu njih blagovremeno smo vas upozorili. Neuspesi PSV-a, Alkmara, madridskog Atletika, Mančester Junajteda i Intera, nas definitivno nisu iznenadili.
