Millwall v Wigan Athletic
Wigan have reached the last four of the FA Cup for the first time in their history.
The Latics are the 78th different team to reach the semi-final stage of the FA Cup.

Prva zvezda prelaznog roka je reprezentativac Finske, Mikael Forsel, koji se posle 16 godina vratio u Helsinki. Branio je boje Čelsija, Kristal Palasa, Menhengladbaha, Birmingema, Hanovera, Lidsa, a u redove šampiona prešao je kao slobodan igrač. Helsinki je doveo još nekoliko pojačanja iz domaćih klubova, a bilo je i odlazaka.
Prethodne sezone, najozbiljniji rival Helsinkiju bio je Inter iz Turkua, koji u novi šampionat ulazi znatno oslabljen. Klub je napustio Meksikanac Antunjez, koji je pojačao američki Čivas, a Mika Ojala je prešao u švedske Haken. Ekipu su popunili igrači iz drugog tima, a od pojačanja iz inostranstva tu je samo Turinen, koji je stigao iz Trelerborga.
