SC Freiburg - Hannover 96
Freiburg have won only two of their 11 Bundesliga meetings with Hannover (D4 L5).
However, Freiburg won their meeting 2-1 in the first half of the season, ending a run of eight consecutive Bundesliga games without victory against Hannover (D4 L4).
Freiburg have won only one home game in the top flight against Hannover (4-1, 1st of May 2004). They haven't won any of their last four home games against Hannover (D2 L2).
Freiburg have lost only one of their last six home games (D2 W3 and a 2-5 loss against Wolfsburg which came on matchday 25).
Freiburg have kept a clean sheet in five of their last six home games.
Freiburg managed to keep a clean sheet in 12 Bundesliga games this season. Never have they kept more than 13 clean sheets within a single Bundesliga season (2000/01).
Bayern are the only side to have kept more clean sheets (18) than Freiburg (12) in the Bundesliga this season.
Hannover have gained only 10 (out of 38 possible) points on the road this season. They have won only 26% of their away games which is the lowest ratio in the top flight.
Hannover are waiting for their 50th Bundesliga goal this season (currently 49). Only in 1965/66 did they also score as many goals (49) in their opening 28 games.

1. FSV Mainz 05 - Hamburger SV
Hamburg won their meeting with Mainz earlier this season (1-0) and could overtake them in the table with another victory.
Mainz haven't won any of their last five home games against Hamburg (D3 L2).
Only against Werder Bremen (six games) have Mainz been waiting longer for a home victory in the Bundesliga.
Hamburg have won only two of their last nine away games (D3 L4) - conceding 14 goals in their last two (2-9 at Bayern Munich, 1-5 at Hannover).
Mainz have drawn seven games in 2013 (like no other team) and they have drawn four of their last six home games.
Against no other side has Ivan Klasnic appeared in as many Bundesliga games as against Hamburg: The striker has lost only two of his 13 meetings with them (D4 W7), scoring three goals.
Nicoalai Müller is looking to make his 50th Bundesliga appearance (currently 49, all for Mainz). He has scored eight of his nine Bundesliga goals in home games.
As a coach, Thorsten Fink hasn't lost any of his four matches against Mainz. His record reads two draws and a victory with Hamburg in the top flight, with another victory coming with FC Ingolstadt in the second division in November 2008.
Fink has never seen a side under his management concede a goal against Mainz.

Bayern Munich - 1. FC Nurnberg
Bayern haven't lost any of their last nine Bundesliga matches against Nurnberg (D4 W5).
Nurnberg have been waiting more than 21 years for an away victory at Munich (D2 L10). Their last victory at Munich came in March 1992 (3-1).
Bayern secured the Championship last week with a 1-0 victory at Frankfurt. Never before had a side won the Bundesliga after only 28 games (previous record was 30 games).
Never before have a team gained as many as 75 points from their opening 28 games. Never have a side collected more than 81 points within one season (Borussia Dortmund, setting this record in 2011/12).
Bayern have won their last 11 Bundesliga games, which is the longest run within a single season in Bundesliga history (new record).
Bayern haven't lost any of their last 19 Bundesliga games, winning 51 out of 57 points (D3 W16).
Nurnberg haven't lost any of their last nine Bundesliga games (D5 W4), which is their longest run in more than six years (11 unbeaten games from November 2006 - February 2007).
Bayern have scored in each of their 28 games this season (like no other team in the Bundesliga). They haven't failed to score since matchday 31 in 2011/12 (0-0 vs. Mainz).
As many as 51.5% of Nurnberg's goals have come following a set piece (like no other side), only 20% of the goals that they have conceded have come from a set piece (like no other team).

VfL Wolfsburg - 1899 Hoffenheim
Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim have met nine times in the Bundesliga. Wolfsburg have won five, Hoffenheim three of these meetings (D1).
Wolfsburg won the Bundesliga meeting between these two sides earlier this season (3-1).
Wolfsburg have scored in every single BL game against Hoffenheim (22 goals in 9 games; 2.44 goals per game on average).
Wolfsburg haven't lost any of their last four Bundesliga games (D3 W1), which is their longest run since March 2012 (five unbeaten games).
Wolfsburg haven't won any of their last five home games against Hoffenheim (D3 L2)
Hoffenheim have lost six of their last seven games on the road. Their sole victory came against Greuther Furth (3-0)
Hoffenheim have gained only four points from their last ten games away from home (D1 W1 L8)

Only two other sides have collected fewer points at home than Wolfsburg (12 points). While Hoffenheim have only 7 points on the road - the lowest in the division.
There have been nine managerial changes in the Bundesliga this season - five of those happened at Wolfsburg (2) and Furth (3).
Markus Gisdol became the second manager in Hoffenheim history in the Bundesliga, to win his debut game (3-0 against Dusseldorf last week); the first was Ralf Ragnick.
Furth have two players with a Wolfsburg connection: Fabian Johnson (16 appearances, one goal) and Chris (8 appearances, one goal).

SpVgg Greuther Furth - Borussia Dortmund
The last time these two teams met in a competitive fixture was in the semi-finals of the German Cup in 2011/2012 - with Dortmund coming out on top thanks to an Ilkay Gundogan strike in the 120th minute of extra time.
Dortmund would go on to lift the cup that year after defeating Bayern in the final.
Furth's sole victory against Dortmund came on August 4, 1990, when they were in the fourth division; they ousted them from the first round of the German Cup thanks to a sensational 3-1 victory.
No team in German professional football has ever gone a whole season without winning a game at home; Furth's current record stands at no wins, D4, L10.
Furth's last home victory came exactly one year ago, April 13, 2012, when they won 2-1 against St. Pauli, in the second division.
Dortmund have a good record on the road - only one loss in the last 12 games away from home (L1 D4 W7), against Schalke.
Dortmund have scored 66 games in the first 28 games of the current campaign - a total they've only ever exceeded once, when they scored 68 goals in the first 28 games of the 63/64 season, the debut season of the Bundesliga
The average number of goals-per-game in the 28 games involving Dortmund was 3.57 (100 goals) - a league high.
At the other end of the scale, the average number of goals per game for any of the 28 games involving Furth is 2.29, the lowest in the division.
Furth have failed to score in 16 of their 28 games. Dortmund managed this only once, against Stuttgart on matchday 10 (0-0).
Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has more Bundesliga goals this season than the entire Furth squad (18).

Fortuna Dusseldorf - Werder Bremen
Dusseldorf have won only one of their last nine Bundesliga meetings against Bremen (D3 L5). This victory came more than 16 years ago (November 1996) at Dusseldorf (4-1).
Dusseldorf have lost only one of their last six home games against Bremen (D2 W3), a 1-2 loss in June 1991.
Dusseldorf are only five points above the relegation playoff position (16th place in the table, currently occupied by Augsburg) and six off direct relegation (Hoffenheim in 17th place).
Bremen have failed to win any of their last seven Bundesliga games (D3 L4), Dusseldorf are without a win in any of their last six (D2 L4). Only Furth is currently in a longer wait for a victory (8 games).
The last time Dusseldorf had the same number of points as they do at this point of the season (29 points from 28 games) was in the 1996/1997 season, which ended in their relegation.
Each of Werder's last three conceded games were the result of an individual error made my Assani Lukimya.
Dusseldorf coach Norbert Meier (5 years) and Bremen coach Thomas Scahff (14 years) are the longest serving managers at their clubs, among all the other teams in the Bundesliga.

FC Schalke 04 - Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Schalke have fewer wins than losses, at home against Leverkusen in the Bundesliga (L9 D11 W8).
The only other team that Schalke have fewer wins than losses, at home (minimum two home games) is Bayern.
Schalke have won only two of their last fourteen home games against Leverkusen in the Bundesliga (D6 L6).
Schalke, who were 11 points behind Leverkusen as recently as matchday 22, could overtake their opponents with a victory today.
Schalke have won five of their last six Bundesliga games (the sole loss was an 0-3 reversal at Nurnberg).
Only Bayern Munich have gained more points from their last six games (18) than Schalke (15).
Schalke have kept clean sheets in their last two games, the first time they've managed this in two years.
Schalke have scored a league-high 67% of their goals (32 of 48) in the second period.
They have also conceded a league-high 70% of their goals (30 of 43) in the second period.
Julian Draxler scored his eighth goal this season last week against Bremen. He is Schalke's top scorer.
Draxler has been involved in five goals in his last five appearances (4 goals, 1 assist).

VfB Stuttgart - Borussia Mönchengladbach
Monchengladbach have won only two of their last 29 Bundesliga encounters with Stuttgart (D11 L16).
Monchengladbach have won only one of their last 14 away games at Stuttgart - which occurred the last time they met, in January 2012 (3-0).
Monchengladbach's highest away loss in the Bundesliga came at Stuttgart in September 2010 when they lost 0-7.
For the first time in their history, Stuttgart have accumulated only eight points from the first eleven games after the winter break.
Stuttgart are without a win in any of their last five Bundesliga home games (D1 L4). Their last home victory came against Schalke on December 8th (3-1). This is their longest losing home run since 2009/10 when they had 7 consecutive home games without victory.
Monchengladbach have won only one of their last eight games on the road in the Bundesliga (D4, L3). They have failed to score more than one goal in any of these games (5 goals in total).
Monchengladbach have conceded only five goals in their last seven games (fewer than any other side in the Bundesliga). They have, however, scored only five in these seven games (tied with Furth, with only Frankfurt scoring fewer: 4).
This is Monchengladbach coach Lucien Favre's 75th game at the helm of his current team, as well as his 150th in the Bundesliga.
Only Freiburg have given away more points after a lead (17) than Stuttgart (16) and Monchengladbach (15).
Christian Gentner has never been on the losing side in any of his ten Bundesliga games against Monchengladbach (with Stuttgart and Wolfsburg: D3 W7).

FC Augsburg - Eintracht Frankfurt
The first competitive match between these two teams came earlier this season: Frankfurt won 4-2 at home.
Augsburg, currently in 16th place (relegation playoff position), have gained more points in 2013 (15) than Frankfurt (12) who are jostling for Europa League/Champions League qualification.
Augsburg have won only two of their 14 Bundesliga home games this season (D5 L7), which is the second-worst home record, after Furth (4 points).
Frankfurt have won only one of their last eight Bundesliga games (D3 L4).
Augsburg have lost their last two home games. They have never lost three consecutive home games in the Bundesliga.
Augsburg have scored only 25 goals this season, only Furth has managed fewer (18).
Frankfurt have scored only nine goals since the winter break. Only Furth (7) and Stuttgart (8) have scored fewer.
Augsburg's Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker has been waiting for his 50th Bundesliga game for his side (he's currently on 49 Bundesliga appearances). His teammate, Sascha Mölders, is on 49 competitive matches for Augsburg.
Frankfurt coach Armin Veh started his coaching career in 1990 for FC Augsburg. He was born in Augusburg.
Before their meeting earlier this season, Veh had never before coached a game against Augsburg in the Bundesliga or the second division (he did coach against them in the third division: D1 L2).
