Borussia Monchengladbach - FC Augsburg
Augsburg are the only side to have never lost a Bundesliga game against Borussia Monchengladbach (D2 L1).
The last time these two teams met, Monchengladbach won both games, but it happened in the second divison (2007(08).
In 2011/12, a scoreless draw between Monchengladbach and Augsborg on matchday 33, secured fourth spot for Monchengladbach and saved Augsborg from relegation.
Augsburg are only three points away from 15th spot (currently occupied by Dusseldorf) which would take them out of the relegation zone. They could tie with Dusseldorf, who play a day later away at Hamburg.
Monchengladbach are unbeaten in their last eight home games (W5 D3). This is their longest unbeaten home run since April 2011 - March 2012, when they went 16 home games without a loss.
Monchengladbach have scored in all 19 competitive home games this season. The last time they failed to score at home was on matchday 33 in 2011/12 - a 0-0 against Augsburg.
Augsburg have scored in each of their last nine away games (a club record).
Monchengladbach have hit fewer crosses than any other side in the Bundesliga (313). This is despite having striker Luuk de Jong in their ranks (led the Dutch Eredivisie in 2011/12 with nine headers).
Luuk de Jong has managed only two Bundesliga headers in 2012/13.
Dong-Won Ji scored his first Bundesliga brace last week against Frankfurt. He was also directly involved in 10 shots last week (5 shots, 5 assists).
The next loss for Monchengladbach coach Lucien Favre will be his fiftieth in his Bundesliga coaching career: He has coached in 150 games in the German top flight (W65 D36).

Borussia Dortmund - 1. FSV Mainz 05
Mainz have never won a Bundesliga game at Dortmund (L2 D4) and they have never scored more than one goal in a game there.
Dortmund have won their last three encounters with Mainz (winning all of them with the same scoreline: 2-1) and they haven't lost any of their last five against Mainz (W4 D1).
Dortmund have won their last four Bundesliga matches in a row, scoring 17 goals.
Mainz have won only one of their last ten games in the top flight (L3 D6).
Dortmund have scored 72 goals in the Bundesliga this season, which is their second-best ever haul after 29 games (73 goals in 1963/64 after the opening 29 games).
Mainz have conceded only 34 goals (tied with Freiburg); only Bayern Munich have conceded fewer (13).
Robert Lewandowski has scored in each of his last eleven Bundesliga appearances. Only Gerd Müller has scored in more (16 consecutive matches for Bayern Munich in 1969/70).
Lewandowski has the chance to become the first Dortmund player since 2002 to end up as the Bundesliga's top goal scorer (the last one was Marcio Amoroso in 2002; 18 goals).
Dortmund's Ilkay Gündogan is poised to make his 100th Bundesliga appearance (he's currently on 99; 12 goals, 9 assists).
Jürgen Klopp spent his entire career as a professional player with Mainz, eventually taking over the reins as player-coach. He lead Mainz to their first promotion to the top flight in 2005.
Jürgen Klopp was also responsible for handing Neven Subotic his Bundesliga debut, when they were both at Mainz in 2006/07.
Christian Wetklo saved 74.6% of all shots this season, which is second-highest in the Bundesliga (after Bayern's Manuel Neuer 81.2%).

Bayer 04 Leverkusen - 1899 Hoffenheim
Leverkusen have never lost against Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga (W8 D1), scoring 22 goals in the process (average of 2.4 per game).
Hoffenheim's only point against Leverkusen came in November 2010 (2-2 at Hoffenheim).
No side has won as many Bundesliga games against Hoffenheim as Bayer Leverkusen (8).
Leverkusen picked up twelve points from their last five games leading up to the winter break. The same record (i.e. 12 points from their next five games) would see them finishing third in the Bundesliga
Hoffenheim lost all five games leading into the winter break - another five losses in the upcoming five games would result in their direct relegation.
Bayer Leverkusen have won only one of their last five Bundesliga games (L2 D2 and a 4-1 victory at Dusseldorf).

Hannover 96 - Bayern Munich
Hannover won their last two home games against Bayern (and 3 of their last 4, with one loss).
Hannover have conceded more goals against Bayern (125) in the top flight than against anyone else. They've also lost more Bundesliga games against them (30), than against anyone else.
Bayern won the reverse fixture 5-0, earlier this season.
None of the last 13 Bundesliga meetings between Hannover and Bayern had resulted in a draw (9 victories for Bayern, 4 for Hannover).
Bayern have drawn only three Bundesliga games this season, while Hannover have drawn five. No other sides have fewer draws.
Bayern are unbeaten in their last 16 Bundesliga away games (W15 D1). They kept a clean sheet in twelve of these matches.
Bayern's last away loss came more than one year ago at Dortmund (0-1; April 11th, 2012).
Bayern need three points to equal the Bundesliga record of 81 points (Dortmund 2011/12) - they have five more games to clinch it.
With their next win, Bayern could set a new Bundesliga record for victories in a season (currently 25), clean sheets (currently 19), and consecutive away victories (currently 8).

Hamburger SV - Fortuna Dusseldorf
Dusseldorf have failed to win any of their last seven Bundesliga games against Hamburg (L6 D1; goal difference: 4-17).
Dusseldorf's last victory at Hamburg came on May 25th, 1985 (matchday 32) when they beat their opponents 2-1.
Hamburg have won only one of their last five home games (L3 D1 and a 1-0 victory against Monchengladbach on matchday 22). They scored only two goals in these five games.
Augsburg (in 16th place, good for the relegation play-offs) are only three points behind Dusseldorf, who have won only three points from their last seven games.
Dusseldorf have failed to win any of their last eleven away games (L9 D2). Their last away victory came on September 25th, 2012 when they won 2-0 at Furth.
No other side has won fewer away games than Dusseldorf (2 - tied with Hoffenheim and Furth).
Last week, Heung-Min Son scored his third brace of the season. He has already scored eleven goals (tied with Rudnevs).
Along with Hamburg (Rudnevs and Son, 11 goals each), Dortmund and Bayern are the only other teams with two players in their ranks with more than 10 goals each.

Eintracht Frankfurt - FC Schalke 04
Frankfurt have failed to win in any of their last 13 Bundesliga games against Schalke (L9 D4). Their last victory came more than nine years ago.
Frankfurt have won more Bundesliga home games against Schalke (21, tied with Stuttgart), more than any other side.
Schalke have won more away games in the top flight against Frankfurt (11, tied with Dortmund and Bremen) than any other side except Bochum (13).
As recently as matchday 21, Schalke were eight points behind Frankfurt. Now they are four points ahead.
Frankfurt have won only one of their last nine Bundesliga games (L5 D3).
Schalke have won five of their last seven Bundesliga games (L1 D1).
Frankfurt failed to score in seven of their last nine games. They have scored only four goals in these nine games (fewer than any other side).

Wolfsburg secured their only Championship with a 5-1 victory over Werder Bremen in 2008/09.
Bremen have conceded more goals this season than any other side (56). This is the most goals they've conceded in 33 years.
No teams have gained more points from behind than Wolfsburg (13: W2 D7) and Bremen (12: W2 D6).
Bremen have failed to win in any of their last eight games (L3 D5). Their last victory came on matchday 21 at Stuttgart (4-1). Only Greuther Furth have gone longer without a victory (9 games).
No sides have gone longer without a clean sheet than Bremen (9 games) and Wolfsburg (8 games).
Only two sides (Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund) have a better away record than Wolfsburg (21 points).
Only Dusseldorf (9 points) and Furth (6) have collected fewer points in the second half of the season than Werder Bremen (10).

Stuttgart have won 56% of their Bundesliga games against Freiburg. Only against Augsburg and Furth (100% each) do they have a better rate (among current Bundesliga clubs).
Freiburg have lost ten of their last twelve Bundesliga games at Stuttgart (W1 D1).
Freiburg have currently won three consecutive Bundesliga games. They could equal their club record (W4 consecutive) with a victory against Stuttgart.
Stuttgart have won only one of their six Bundesliga home games in 2013 (L4 D1 and a 2-0 victory against Monchengladbach last week).
Stuttgart haven't conceded a goal in the Bundesliga in 188 minutes (2 games) which is their longest run since March 2012.
Stuttgart have scored only 31 goals in their 29 Bundesliga games this season. Only in 2005/06 did they score fewer (29) in the same number of matches.

1. FC Nurnberg - SpVgg Greuther Furth
Their only Bundesliga meeting earlier in the season, resulted in a scoreless draw.
In that games, there were only eight attempted shots and only one shot on target (both records since Opta began compiling those kinds of data in 2004/05).
Last week, both Nurnberg (0-4 away loss at Bayern Munich) and Furth (1-6 home loss against Dortmund) suffered their biggest defeats of season.
Nurnberg haven't lost any of their last eleven home games (W6 D5). This is currently the longest home run of all Bundesliga teams.
Nurnberg have scored in each of their last ten home games.
Furth haven't won any of their last nine games (L6 D3), longer than any other side.
Furth are last in the Bundesliga in goals (19), big chances (26), passing accuracy (73.3%) and shot conversion (73.3%).
No sides have played fewer passes than Nurnberg (9800) and Furth (9901). The Bundesliga average is 12207 per team.
Nurnberg defender Per Nilsson is the top goal scorer of his side (5 goals) and the best goal scorer among all defenders (tied with Wolfsburg's Naldo). His last three goals came following a set-piece.
