TORINO
Gillet

AC Milan could be without Riccardo Montolivo (hamstring) for the visit of Torino to San Siro after the midfielder picked up an injury in training this week, while Giampaolo Pazzini's heroics last weekend are unlikely to see him force his way into the team at the expense of Mario Balotelli.

The Rossoneri also look set to be without on-loan striker Bojan Krkic for the end of season run-in after the 22-year-old sustained a thigh injury, but there is better news for Massimiliano Allegri at the back as Christian Abbiati could return to take his place between the sticks.

Meanwhile, opposition coach Giampiero Ventura has a juggling act to perform as he contemplates resting players for his side’s vital relegation clash with Genoa, just three days after his side visit Milan.

Strikers Rolando Bianchi and Riccardo Meggiorini started the Turin derby against Juventus last weekend but both could be rested on Sunday, with Udinese loanee Paulo Barreto taking up the lone forward role.

Valerio Di Cesare is expected to deputise in central defence for the suspended Kamil Glik after the Pole was sent off in last weekend’s derby defeat.

DID YOU KNOW?

AC Milan have scored in every home match they have played in 2013, notching 20 goals in nine games at San Siro.

The Rossoneri could have a big impact on this season’s Serie A relegation battle as Allegri’s men have to play three of the bottom five sides in their final four matches.

Right-back Ignazio Abate signed for Milan from Torino back in 2009 having played 25 games for the Turin outfit.

This season’s reverse fixture saw Milan come from behind in Turin to beat Ventura’s side 4-2 in a game that was overshadowed by a season-ending injury to Nigel de Jong.

Torino have only picked up one win in their last nine matches in Serie A, a run that has seen them slip into a relegation dogfight.

Ventura’s men have been draw specialists on the road this season, with nine matches finishing all square on their travels - more than any other club in the division.

Prediction
Milan have been on an unstoppable run in the second half of the season and few in Serie A have been able to find an answer to the Rossoneri's new look front three, spearheaded by Mario Balotelli. Torino on the other hand have had a woeful time of things since January and having looked comfortable for most of the season, Ventura's side are now on the brink of an almighty relegation scrap. It doesn't look like things will get any better for them at the Giuseppe Meazza either and I fully expect the home side to pick up a comfortable three points.

Editor's Prediction
Milan 3-1 Torino
